This Chinook Concourse was listed on Craigslist 14 days ago and was still online when we posted it here. Good condition overall, runs and drives without mechanical issues, some amenities are not in top form course of age, but it still works, and the interior looks decent for its age. Our beloved Chinook the "Warrior Princess" has been to Burning Man, Saline Valley & Canyon de Guadeloupe several times, navigating severe off-road conditions, as well as being our home for 2-3 months at one time, both in hot desert and cold snow & ice conditions. Great for off-grid or with full hook-ups.
It is a cushy drive, good for 4-6 passengers, sleeps 2-3, and for dinner seats up to 10 people. Great kitchen double sink, 4 burner stove & full oven, microwave. Lots of little cool perks. Sadly Freezer & fridge DO NOT work, but still way better than any cooler with a block of ice!
Toilet & shower room w/sink & medicine cabinet. Hot water heater & *new pump. AC/DC/power & Onan generator. ( Needs tune-up) Huge propane, fresh water, grey & black tanks. AC, *new roof fan & skylight.
Mechanically sound, *new leaf springs, *new 2nd fuel pump, *new drive shaft. Never any trouble smogging. Square & bal solid trailer hitch, with electrical connections & solid bumpers. it has a 38-gallon gas tank, from 260 to 360 miles reach at 8-9 miles per gallon. Fuel gage is NOT working because of the extra fuel pump installation in the gas tank.
Survived a nearby fire, cosmetic damage in the rear end. ( Plastic bits are a bit melty but everything works.) Interior needs some minor love. Beds & fabric upholstery in good shape & clean. Hardwood floor. Tile counter. Some cabinet doors need to be re-attached. The blinds need repair. Comes with free extras: fabric storage cover, windshield cool magnetic cover, leveling blocks ect. All the original manuals & upgrade specs!
