Similar platform to the last posted here Toyota Ranger, but it's categorized as Class B, more compact with fiberglass construction about 16-18 feet long and 6 for wide made by Sandtana based on a 1982 Toyota truck chassis, powered by a rebuilt 2.4L 22R engine backed by a manual transmission.
It's an early model of the Sandtana marketing a fuel-efficient method of motorhome vacationing, short-lived of Sandtana was founded in 1982 and ended in 1985. Believed products of Sandtana can record gas mileage beyond 20 miles per gallon. The Sandtana was listed on Craigslist about six days ago and was still online when we posted it here. 1982 Toyota Sandtana tilt top with 112k miles, rebuilt 2.4L 22r with a new head replaced at 107k miles, 4 speed manual transmission, meets CA emission standards, cold factory A/C, most parts under the hood were been replaced with new parts at the time the engine was replaced. New paint and decals, new interior, new carpet and floor mats ,cab insulated with hush mat and heat shield, Sunbrella fabric cushions with new foam that double as a full size bed. 5 gallon fresh water tank, cassette toilet, 3 way refrigerator, 2 burner propane stove, Sunbrella top canvas.
