This is my 1985 Xplorer 221. Its built on a one ton dodge van chassis, high-top with full standing room, 360 V8, 727 transmission and 8 lug axles. Drives easy like a van, has a shower and actual bathroom, couch, rear bed, tons of storage. driver and passenger seats swivel for tons of room. LOTS of work has been done to this van, all the plumbing is brand new, new counter top, new flooring, new upholstery on the bolsters, new couch, reupholstered front seats. The transmission was rebuilt last year (complete rebuild with clutches plates and bands) and has been flawless since. The whole front of the engine was resealed, new fuel pump, new water pump, rebuilt carb, new tires, HEI distributor conversion. The front end was converted to an 87+ grill allowing for better headlights. Everything is converted to 12V and the propane was removed (i still have the tank if desired). Has a very nice slide out 12v fridge that uses very little energy. Has a 285 watt solar panel on the roof that provides more than ample electricity for everything. There's room for a window ac unit. Van just passed emissions last week and starts up every time. Great weekend van or even a live in nomad mobile. Hard to get good pictures of the inside so just ask for what you want to see more of.
