This particular model, a VW LT40 full camper van, was manufactured by Volkswagen in the late 1980s and released in 1989. It's powered by a 6-cylinder turbo diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, now seeking a new owner.
Designed for long-term use, this camper is built on a commercial-grade truck chassis with engine parts designed for longevity, capable of roaming millions of miles. With only 103,000 miles on it today, it has plenty of life left. However, this bus is still in Europe. It is scheduled for complete maintenance in the next two weeks and is expected to arrive in Texas in October.
