The Camper features a dependable 4.2l diesel engine backed by a 5-speed manual transmission. Everything works, runs, and drives fine, but that needs restoration to fix some rust holes on the body. 1997 Toyota Landcruiser HZJ75 w/custom camper. Import from Europe. Oregon title/registration. 1hz 4.2l diesel. 5spd manual transmission. 24v battery system. Left hand drive. Power steering. No AC. Single fuel tank. This vehicle runs and drives fine. Has always started instantly and engine sounds great. It was purchased by myself in 2023 from original owner who spoke mostly German so most paperwork is in German. Not a lot of service records available. Custom built in Europe. Purchased new as a pickup. New BFG KO2 16” tires, new 2.5” muffler/exhaust pipe and resonator. Radiator cleaning treatment/new coolant. New radiator fan clutch. New brake master cylinder/fluid/brake lines where needed. New air cleaner element, fuel and oil filter. Brake pad/discs inspected and fine. Engine batteries are 2 years old. Compression test all cylinders between 350-400lbs. This is an iconic vehicle that is in need of restoration. Rust holes on body that need repairs(mostly drivers side door, windshield area and roof). Frame is very solid. Surface rust in many areas. Camper is 1.5” fiberglass/foam composite panel. Lots of storage space. 2 water tanks(35+ gallons total) Camper has 2 80amp 12v deep cell batteries. 400w inverter. Compressor fridge, new diesel heater. 240watts of solar panels. 2 burner propane stove. 12v water system/sink. Camper top was originally designed to pop up as shown in 1 photo.
