Hard to find today, it's believed only 200 units were produced from 1974 to 1978, and this is the second short Argosy unit posted here. Very rare polished 1977 Airstream Argosy 20’ Shorty.
Plenty of head room, very spacious. Walking into this RV is like walking into a bright home, plenty of light from the windows and sun shades. Full size couch, that converts into a bed. Rear full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Domestic fridge/freezer, stove, and sink. Plenty of closet and storage space. New roof A/C, and Onan Generator.
This Argosy is built on a Chevrolet P-30 one ton full size truck chassis. Parts are easily found and readily available. Powered by a 454 Cubic inch V8, 400 automatic. Power steering, and power brakes. Runs and drives well, it’s very strong and smooth. All 6 tires are newer with low miles.
Only produced from 1974-1978, airstreams first venture into the motor home market.
The interior is usable, as it sits. But it does need carpet in the front near the engine cover. As well as check all of the interior systems before going on a long trip.
This is a steal for a one of a kind Airstream that can be enjoyed as is or easily take it to the next level. Clean title.
