Compete with the Chinook 18 Plus of its period, well-known as Balboa Camper Van, it's an 18-foot-long fiberglass shell self-contained Class B RV made by Jensen Marine based on a 1972 Dodge Van. The Balboa had its interior renovated and completed a few months ago. Backed by a Dodge reliable engine runs and drives perfectly.

1972 Dodge Balboa Motorhome for sale! Balboa motorhomes - These very rare campers were built by company Jensen Marine in Costa Mesa CA from 1968 - 1974. They specialized in making fiberglass boats and developed a project to create the ultimate RV design and build. The concept was to create an RV structured and built just like a fiberglass boat. A 1-piece "all-fiberglass" body which meant no rust, never any leaks, no squeaking or rattling of any sort, and it will never come apart! It has a layout as spacious as no other, only few people know about this little gem. It will give you a much better experience than any class B, westfalia or sprinter. Driving around town, running errands, stops at the supermarket and park in regular parking spots, all at ease with this 18ft long easy to drive van. With rear entry, open floor layout, and with the one and only balboa panoramic windows on both sides for a great “outdoors” feeling and “view”.

Does it need anything? Not really! Suggest replace water heater to solar. Runs extremely well. All gauges work - oil pressure, alternator, temperature, and gas gauge. Brakes have been redone, power steering very easy to turn. Dash stereo works. lights work, blinkers, high beams, hazards etc. It is such a desirable camper and it’s only going up in value, you will always be able to sell it if you need to. Although we are pretty sure that will be last thing you’ll want after you make it your own! A great investment and a fun camper van for many years to come.
