It's a classic Chinook class B RV that has fiberglass-shelled and is about 18 feet long on the 1977 Dodge van chassis, as we are known this model is one of the desirable RVs among camp enthusiasts. Nearly half a century the appearance still looks decent for its age.

Detail RV by owner
It is with bittersweetness we find a new home for our beloved 1977 Dodge Chinook camper. The 4th owners, we have enjoyed beach camping primarily along the Southern California coast over the last 8 years. Have only added a few thousand miles in that time. Since moving North, don't use Chinook as much. Powered by a 360 8 cyl. beast of an engine, this fiberglass-shelled dually will reliably take you most places. At 18 ft. in length, you can park anywhere. At just over 6 ft. height inside there is plenty of headroom space, and at 7 ft wide inside room to stretch out. With tons of storage, a sink, oven, fridge, toilet and shower, you could live in it. Used primarily as a weekend camping getaway, was only used to sleep in, store cold food and gear. Never had a need to use the shower, sink or stove (tested 8 years ago, everything worked). Fridge is propane or electric. Stove is gas. The unrealized dream, of course, was to fix all the cosmetic blemishes and rust issues, and hook up all the external roof lights. With some elbow grease and a vision, this Chinook could truly shine. Including cover, RV power connection cables, extra set of taillight reflectors. Clean title and current CA tags. Was told by previous owner it was on an episode of CHiPs.
