Found this on Craigslist about two days ago, and still online when we posted it here, a used Toyota Dolphin RV has been fully renovation being offered for sale by the owner located in Wapato, Washington. As shown here class C RV was made by Dolphin based on a 1987 Toyota chassis, powered by a 4-cylinder fuel-injected engine mated with an automatic transmission, and has been driven about 100,000 miles. Here are the high points of my Toyota Dolphin Rv named Betty White. Betty’s been an interesting and fun project, but it turned out after doing all that work that I was going to need a place to live full-time. I couldn’t picture that in the Dolphin. Betty White has been my hero, really ever since I became a Veterinarian.
She has just over 100,000 miles on her. She drives easily most anywhere, and with her 4-cylinder fuel-injected engine gets good mileage too. I took her through California down to Tucson and back to see how she performed. I have done and had done major renovations and repairs over a period of about 2 years. Replaced all interior cabinets with custom maple, teak, and copper materials. All plumbing and electrical equipment has been replaced with significant upgrades. All exterior access doors have been replaced and keyed to a single non-standard key. The roof has been replaced, from the underlying structure to the outside membrane, which should resist damage for many years to come. All openings in the ceiling were remade with the roof work, and the air conditioner was replaced with a Fantastic Fan. The instrument panel, which in the standard state was non-functional, was rebuilt with new more modern gauges. Accurate fuel level, engine temperature, and GPS speedometer. The bathroom was reinvented, with a new stainless sink and a genuine teak countertop. The shower was also completely redone.
