Caterpillar 3116 Diesel engine and Allison Transmission runs great and has been to the other side of the country and back. Only selling because we're looking for something smaller.
Repairs the RV could use: Gas gauge doesn't currently work, passenger wiper has a new motor but needs to be connected and the BF Goodrich Velvet Ride Torsion Bar suspension could be raised up an inch. Generator doesn't work. Not sure if it needs to be replaced or if it can be fixed. Front dashboard heat currently working. AC doesn't get super cold.
The inside could use some cosmetic updates to really make it more modern but it's functional how it is.
When we bought the RV, there were some signs of water damage on the ceiling so we resealed the roof and there is no leaking.
We have maintained it with regular oil changes and have invested around $20,000 in it with the Power 2000W solar/inverter upgrades and repairs since we bought it. We added a dual electric/propane water heater as well as a super efficient propane heater (shown in the pictures).
They don't make them like this classic anymore. Would be a great starter project to upgrade interior.
Recommend that suspension in the rear be lifted an inch and we'd be willing to take some of the price to cover the upgrade.
