For Sale, 1948 GMC Conversion Bus
Price: $5800Used RV for Sale, Here's a vintage bus produced by GMC built in 1948 Model TDM 4507. Converted to a motor home in the '70s. Sleeps 6. Stove, sink, bathroom, lots of storage. Recent overhaul on Detroit 6-71. 4-Speed manual transmission. This bus was in storage for several years. We purchased it in 1999. We did a lot of work on it (interior, exterior, and motor). It's located in northeast Nebraska. We drove it to Wyoming, Colorado. Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Minnesota, and Iowa on several occasions.
We have continued to use this bus once a year for an event we attend annually, not far from home. So, it needs some TLC before it would be ready to go on a long trip, but for the most part, it's ready to roll. Its low profile would allow transportation on a drop deck trailer if so desired. It comes with a long history of fun and we'd love for a new owner to take care of it and have at least as much fun as we had with it over the years.
