Here is my unique Spacevan that has undergone a full body restoration at huge cost. The van has also had its look made cooler with the re modelling of the front, and the addition of bolt on custom spats to smooth the wheel arches to give the lower line a constant look.
The conversion was originally by Bluebird, with the raising roof to give internal standing space. This is a hoot to drive as you are sat over the front wheels, but this is a plodding machine and not a speed demon.
The interior cabinets have been stripped out and now has custom build maple veneered curved cabinets to match the profile of the brand new sink and hob combo unit. The restoration build is not complete, but all the difficult bits have been done and there cant be many in this country that have had the sort of cost lavished upon its restoration to remove all rot.
Jobs required to complete (not exhaustive) are: 1. fix furniture to interior, hang doors to cabinets and fit latches 2. Cabinets will require varnishing or lacquering. 3. Upper cabinets with sliding doors require completion. 4. temporary table top needs replacing with correct maple top 5. Engine requires a full service (brand new radiator has been fitted) 6. Whole under requires cleaning and under sealing (new panels have been zinc coated but require more protection) 7. a thorough check of all systems for MOT
Although not complete, this is a unique and very cool classic camper and you will attract attention where ever you go. Whoever purchases this Spacevan can finish the jobs themselves or I can arrange with the restoration company to complete (at extra cost of course) but the jobs require your time and not too much cost.
