1954 GMC Scenicruiser for Sale, I bought this to convert to a motorhome, and it's titled as such. The inside is an empty shell. It needs complete restoration and conversion to be used as a motorhome. It has air ride, air brakes, 8V71 Detroit Diesel(old school 2 stroke diesel), 4 speed manual transmission. It's a 40' diesel pusher design. It runs and will move under its own power, however I would not drive it as it has sit for a long time, and tires are old, brakes are unknown condition. It stops and can be driven in the yard, but would require thorough check out to drive on road. Several windows are cracked. The skylights and rear window have been closed in with aluminum panels. Some conversion parts included in sale. I have too many projects and haven't worked on this one in over a year. Time to let it go. This one is #227 of 1001 originally built. It is the last 1954 model built, and was used by Greyhound on there SouthEastern routes.
